The Vickie Houk Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship, honoring the memory of the Reverend Vickie Houk, a founding member and first President of Friends of Peak Creek, has been established to assist Pulaski County students who plan to pursue a career in some area of environmental and/or conservation related work.  Preference will be given to students who demonstrate leadership through serving his or her community and plans to continue to contribute to the community upon completion of their formal education.

Vickie was an enthusiastic volunteer and groundbreaker for our organization. She was always passionate about getting young people involved with our mission. This scholarship was created in her memory

to do just that.
